Well, we finally did it.  Adam and I got engaged December 23, 2012 and our wedding will be June 28, 2013  at Ste. Chapelle Winery in Caldwell, Idaho. So excited to start this next chapter of my life with the man I've loved for more than 5 years now.

6 months later... I have acquired enough work to classify (sorta) as EMPLOYED.  How did I do it, you may ask?  Well, I have three jobs :)
Job 1 is in Cedar City at a Skilled Nursing Facility with the elderly, Job 2 is in St. George (almost an hour commute each way) in homes working with children and families in Early Intervention, and the latest addition is Job 3.  I am training to be a ski instructor at Brian Head Resort!  YAY!!! Including commute, I will begin working at least 5 days a week now!

So... still mostly jobless here in Cedar City.  Someone told me the other day that they read Physical Therapists are in the top 10 for finding jobs easiest...something to that extent.  (sigh)

Maui, Hawaii

Adam and I visited Maui, Hawaii this summer and it was absolutely AMAZING. We stayed in a condo by the beach, went snorkling, played on the beach, watched the sun rise at Haleakala Crater, watched the sun set on a dinner cruise, visited beautiful gardens and Ioa State Park, enjoyed lots of delicious food and drinks and just relaxed. If you never have, go visit!

New Home

We have arrived in Cedar City, Utah.  Adam has been here since February 2012 and I joined him in June.  This is a picture at our new home, a picture of the reason we moved (Adam's new coaching job - Assistance Women's soccer coach at Southern Utah University!!!), the champion 5 v. 5 soccer team at the Utah Summer Games (top: Head football coach, Ed, and Head Basketball coach, Nick, bottom: Head Soccer coach, Becky, out of place and the only one who is not a coach, me, and Asst. Soccer coach, Adam), and a view of our new home from the top of the C-trail.
I'm so proud of Adam and he's having a blast so far.  Becky is an amazing soccer coach and both she and Adam proclaim that their team can most certainly be the 2012 Big Sky Champions!!! Go Thunderbirds!

My new friends! Suzanne ("Nebraska") and Kaitlyn ("Florida")
Adam and I visited Hoover Dam on the way to Texas.

Ella loves to dance. Jeff paid the mariachi band to play just for us in San Antonio.

The Abilene Zoo (primary attraction in Abilene, TX). They allow you to feed the giraffes. Did you know giraffe's tongues are about 2 feet long and purple...oh, and slimy.

This is probably the cutest picture I've ever seen. Ella is such a little cowgirl.
